Installation Information

• Minimum System Requirements

  • Before installing, please make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for running Internet Security Suite:

    Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP

    Windows 2000 Requirements
    • Minimum RAM: 128MB
    • Processor speed: 533Mhz or faster
    • Available hard drive space: 130MB
    
    Windows XP Requirements
    • Minimum RAM: 192MB
    • Processor speed: 533Mhz or faster
    • Available hard drive space: 130MB
  
  
• Compatibility Information

  • Some common programs are not compatible with Internet Security Suite. Typically, such programs can be replaced with Internet Security Suite, often with gains in functionality and convenience. These programs will need to be removed to gain full Internet Security Suite functionality.

  • Incompatible Programs
    • Anti-Virus Software
      These programs are incompatible with Internet Security Suite and should be removed prior to installation:
      • McAfee® VirusScan™
      • Trend Micro® PC Cillin™
      These programs will not prevent Internet Security Suite installation, but the Internet Security Suite Firewall will not function unless they are removed:
      • Norton Anti-Virus™
      • Zone Alarm®
      • Panda AV
    • Firewall Software
      These programs are incompatible with Internet Security Suite and should be removed prior to installation:
      • Sygate Personal Firewall
      • McAfee® Suite 6.0
      • McAfee® Suite 2005
      • Trend Micro® PC Cillin™
      • Norton Internet Security™
      These programs will not prevent Internet Security Suite installation, but the Internet Security Suite Firewall will not function unless they are disabled:
      • Zone Alarm® Firewall
      • Windows XP Service Pack 2 Firewall
      • Tiny Personal Firewall
  
  
• Installing the Software
  • Please follow these steps to download and install Internet Security Suite:
    1. Run Windows Update to get the latest system updates for your computer
    2. Download Internet Security Suite
    3. Save the program to your desktop
    4. Double-click the Internet Security Suite icon on your desktop
    5. Click "OK" (The software will then download its components. This may take a few minutes.)
    6. Click "Next"
    7. Please read and agree to the License Agreement
    8. Click "Next"
    9. Click "Next"
    10. Click "Reboot"

    Your installation is now complete. Next, you'll need to configure your Internet Security Suite client.

• Configuring Internet Security Suite
  • Upon restarting your computer, you'll be prompted to configure Internet Security Suite. Your service code is .cts
    1. When prompted, enter your administrative master account username including the service code (dans.cts), and password, and click "Next"
    2. Click "Next" on each of the following five prompts
    3. Click "Finish"
    Your configuration is now complete!

Note: During the installation you will be asked for a username. Please enter your administrative master account username followed by your service code ".cts" for example "dans.cts"
